Showbiz: As the actress taking on the role of Diana in a forthcoming movie, the film's producers obviously saw something of the former princess in Naomi Watts.
However, the two women share more than a few aesthetic features, but also a love of animal print on the beach.
On Sunday, the actress wore a Cheetah print swimsuit, a reminder of the mixed animal bathing costume worn by the English Rose in the 90s.
The 44-year old's swimsuit shared a similar theme and halterneck style to Diana's - although the late princess's costume featured a mix of animal prints including tiger and leopard.
But when Prince Charles' ex-wife wore this in the summer before her untimely death, she was on holiday with her children, just like Naomi.
But whilst Diana vacationed in St Tropez, Naomi is currently in the Caribbean with her partner Liev Schreiber and their two children.
On the St. Barts private beach, the yummy mummy played around with her six-year-old son Alexander on a body board.
Making sure he didn't get swept out to sea, Naomi kept a close eye on her boy, holding him steady in the strong waves.
