Naomi Watts sunny family outing

With back to back red carpets on her schedule,  its nice for Naomi Watts to unwind with a bit of family time. Naomi took a rare casual turn as she was spotted in gym clothes taking her kids out for a bike ride with her partner Live Schreiber near their home in Brentwood, Los Angeles on Saturday morning. Live wore a green coat over as he clutched his youngest son samuel’s hand and watched as Alexander, 5, gallantly rode ahead on his training wheels. The 44 year old actress then joined her boys for the sunny excursion, picking flowers with her four year old as they strolled throught the empty streets and showing off her slender figure in an off the shoulder grey shirt and black tights.

Also that day, the family enjoyed a day at the park in Santa Monica.

Naomi had about as much fun pumping her legs on the swings as her boys did. She did take time out, however, to help her youngest son get on the ride as well.

At another point, the fun loving mum was seen giving Alexander, whom she affectionately calls Sasha, a piggy back ride. The friendly actress spent some time chatting with the other mothers there watching over their children as the romped around.

Naomi Watts favours safari-themed swimsuit just like Princess Diana

Showbiz: As the actress taking on the role of Diana in a forthcoming movie, the film's producers obviously saw something of the former princess in Naomi Watts.

However, the two women share more than a few aesthetic features, but also a love of animal print on the beach.

On Sunday, the actress wore a Cheetah print swimsuit, a reminder of the mixed animal bathing costume worn by the English Rose in the 90s.

The 44-year old's swimsuit shared a similar theme and halterneck style to  Diana's - although the late princess's costume featured a mix of animal prints including tiger and leopard.

But when Prince Charles' ex-wife wore this in the summer before her untimely death, she was on holiday with her children, just like Naomi.

But whilst Diana vacationed in St Tropez, Naomi is currently in the Caribbean with her partner Liev Schreiber and their two children.

On the St. Barts private beach, the yummy mummy played around with her six-year-old son Alexander on a body board.

Making sure he didn't get swept out to sea, Naomi kept a close eye on her boy, holding him steady in the strong waves.

Throughout their time in the water together, mother and son had wide smiles as they waited for fresh waves.
